Step 1: Cleanse and Prepare

• Start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt or makeup.
• Pat your skin dry with a clean towel.

Step 2: Disinfect the Dermapen

• Clean the needle tip of the Dermapen by soaking it in isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes. This ensures it’s free from bacteria.

Step 3: Apply a Numbing Cream (Optional)

• If you have sensitive skin, you may apply a numbing cream and wait for it to take effect. Be sure to remove any residue before moving to the next step.

Step 4: Begin Microneedling

• Set your Dermapen to the desired needle depth (0.25 mm is ideal for gentle at-home use).
• Gently move the pen over your skin in small sections, using slow, even strokes in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions for full coverage. Avoid excessive pressure—light pressure is enough for effective results.

Step 6: Clean the Dermapen

• Disinfect the Dermapen again by soaking it in alcohol before storing it in a clean, dry place.
